My name is CK, a.k.a. Mad Russian.
Born in Moscow, Russia, in 1962, lived there till 1998, when immigrated to Canada. After moving back and forth between Vancouver, Canada, and Seattle, USA, relocated to Greater Ottawa Area. Finally settled down in Ridgeway (Fort Erie), by Lake Erie, near Niagara Falls.
Played semi-professionally with several Russian rock bands back in the 80s and 90s. Notable groups I've performed and recorded with:
- Prokhodnoy Dvor (Passable Courtyard) by Yuri Naumov
- Alexander Nevsky
I'm a songwriter (mostly music), acoustic, electric and bass guitar player, and also keyboardist. I compose, perform, record and produce my songs - and this takes all the time that I have.
I released 'Blues De Vancouver' album in 2002, and the next one, called 'Vague Nostalgia', in 2009.
